Stupid pop-up at the bottom of wordpress pages
Problem
I just noticed that there is a new pop-up widget on my wordpress.com blog at the bottom (see the screenshot). How to get rid of that?
Solution
Install Adblock Plus and add the following filter:
wordpress.com###infinite-footer

Is adblock only blocking it in YOUR browswer or is it removing it from your blog? Can you expand on how to kill this annoyance for your readers?
Adblock operates on the client side, so it only blocks in my browser. Install Adblock Plus, find it in Tools -> Add-ons, select Preferences, then Filter Preferences…, and add a custom filter (the one indicated in the post).
