Install Windows 7 from a USB stick

With YUMI (Windows application), you can create a Windows 7 install USB. For this, you must have a Windows 7 ISO.

Just launch YUMI, specify your USB stick, select Windows 7 from the list, select the ISO file and let YUMI do the rest of the job. Reboot your machine from the USB stick.

“Windows” is not on the list in YUMI. One would have to use “other ISO” and this doesn’t work with Windows installers.

You can find Windows at the bottom of the list. However, I tried to install Windows 7 on a USB and it didn’t work :( But I remember that with an older version of YUMI about half year ago it worked fine. This time it said “installation successful” but it finished in 30 seconds and it didn’t copy the Windows ISO to the USB.
